MacBook 2007

I just got a MacBook 2007 off eBay for a very good price. It will be my main now for it is better than my toshiba.

'macbook 4,1'
Intel Core 2 Duo (not Core Duo) at 2.4ghz

2gb ddr2 667mhz ram (upgrading to 4gb)

160gb hard drive

iSight camera built in

13.3" display at 1280x800

GMA x3100 144mb (i think) graphics chipset

MagSafe charging

Included in the box:

listed as 60 watt charger (but i got an 85 watt one!!)

MacBook early 2008 (turns out to be late '07 but no difference. I like the older ones)

working battery (unsure if it is original or replaced but it looks to be original. It holds a good 4 hour charge)

Mac OS X 10.6.8 was installed but due to age I can not get the free upgrade to 10.10 (or 10.11). I will probably just go look for 10.7.4 online because it was originally a free upgrade for 10.6.8 users. This thing runs great and aside from a small hairline crack near the keyboard and on the front of the palmrest (very common) it looks like new and runs like ne…

FT Versa Wing Build | From Scratch

On first note I will say that I was in no way asked or rewarded for making this tutorial; I am not in any involvement with FliteTest or with this project, I am simply providing an accurate tutorial on how to build this plane from scratch.

This tutorial will go over the complicated idea (for people new to this) on how to build this plane from scratch. I have seen no tutorials whatsoever on how to build it from scratch. Using the available plans from FliteTest and using their speed build tutorial I have managed to build this from scratch on 3, 20x30 sheets of foam board. I myself am completely new to this area and this was my first time building a model rc from scratch.

Total Parts Cost: $119.30 (USD)
My Shopping List:

 - 6 Channel Transmitter + Receiver

 - Motor + esc

 - 8x6 Propellers

 - 9g micro servos

 - 2s-3s lipo balanced charger

 - lipo voltage warning alarm + tester

 - 3s 2200 MAh lipo battery

 - 3* 20x30 foam board sheets

Wi-Fi FPV Car Update 2

Just a few images from the complete overhaul of the design. It now uses a raspberry PI to control the car and has a different "camera." A benefit/downside is that it runs on Wi-Fi. The good thing about that is I can use it anywhere with wifi. The bad thing is that I can only use it with wifi. I may consider creating a UHF controlled one soon.

Minetest PowerPC release test

I have successfully compiled and tested minetest for powerpc in a previous post but with messed up graphics. I have come to conclude that it is in fact the open GL problem. This build (and any others) require open GL 1.2+. If anyone can find a way to get open GL on an iBook G3 with mac 10.4.11 please let me know. For now, open GL 1.3 is installed on the iBook G4 with 10.5.8 and runs minetest flawlessly!

Builds Directory: Google Drive

Thanks to: Minetest Devs (for making an awesome game), Tobi (for making the XCode project), Me (for changing the XCode project to work with powerpc 10.4<)

Tutorial still soon to come.
